Beauty Review: Peripera Heart Tok Blusher

Powder blushers—no makeup kit is ever complete without at least one of these lovely little goodies. Take it from the experts in the make-up business: no matter how well you apply and blend your foundation, it is as important to bring back the color to your face by putting on some color powder, lest you want to look like a raw cookie dough.

Today’s review is about a cute little blusher from Peripera which is a Korean beauty brand. I searched the Internet for relevant information about the brand, and here’s what I found.

Based in South Korea, Peripera’s products have quickly acquired a global cult following—thanks to their vivid colors, smart formulas, and fun, unique ways of applying them. From a lipstick that changes shades to a blush you can apply with the squeeze of a tube, Peripera is constantly inventing new ways to play with makeup.

You can also check out Peripera’s official website in case you might wanna know more about the brand.

Okay, let’s head over to the review.

Peripera Heart Tok Blusher

Product Description

This blusher provides a natural color to the cheeks and gives the cheeks a soft glow.

Usage Instruction

Pick a puff or a makeup brush over the blusher. Apply the blusher onto your cheeks in a circular motion. For a more intense color, apply an extra layer of cheek powder.

I got this item from my first ever haul from Little Korea last June. I got this in the variant 004 Pink and Peach. It was my first purchase from the seller and everything I bought was part of their clearance sale.

The Peripera Heart Tok Blusher comes in a metallic heart-shaped canister.

The product information is written in Korean.

Upon opening you will see a cute little puff sitting on top of the product.

There is a plastic lid separating the product and the puff.

Did I mention how good this blusher smells? It smells so sweet but not too sweet nor overpowering. It is safe to say that it has a nice blend of floral and fruity scent to it. Also, the scent does not linger for so long on the skin, so those who are sensitive to scented products don’t need to worry.

I have used this blusher for quite some time now. As you can tell, the little puff has already caught up some of the product. While some people much prefer to use makeup brushes to blend in their powder blush, I opted to use the little puff instead just because it’s too cute I cannot stop touching it.

On a serious note, the puff distributes the product well enough to add the much-needed color to your cheekbones. I also like the fact that it comes with a ribbon tie to put your finger in, so all you have to do is wrap your finger onto the ribbon and dab dab dab away to a blushing beautiful you.

Just a quick swatch of what the actual product looks like. I like that it is very light weight, very powdery and not sticky at all.

4.5 out of 5 stars

What I like:

  • It gives a nice natural color and glow to the skin.
  • It is easy to blend with makeup brush or blusher puff or even with your fingers.
  • It is not too subtle nor too pigmented. It provides just the right amount of pigment.
  • It smells so good and satisfying.
  • It comes in a very adorable and unique packaging.

What I don’t like:
It’s not very accessible to purchase Peripera products. There are only a few online shops that offer products from this brand.

Will I repurchase?
Probably at some point.

Will I recommend?
Yes! I recommend the Peripera Heart Tok Blusher to those who are on the lookout for a cute and adorable powder blusher.
