I was always an unusual girl.
My mother told me
I had a chameleon soul,
no moral compass pointing due north,
no fixed personality,
just an inner indecisiveness
that was as wide and as wavering
as the ocean.
A girl who goes by so many names.
A natural buff for nom de guerres, she resists any form of singular classification so she brands herself with a moniker for every occasion. A childish exhibition, one could tell, stemming from the irrational belief that she must never abandon her youth and rebellion.
A sworn believer of the printed word, she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Philosophy in 2016. Her interests range from anything edgy to girly: from tattoos to trinkets, punk rock to pink. She is a firm believer of the Reincarnation, and wishes (however foolishly) to be turned into an owl in the afterlife.
Despite her love for books, she never considers herself a bookworm, and most likely to feel uncomfortable in the company of readers. She deems that love for books is a solitary pilgrimage. Her favorite authors are Nietzsche, Deleuze, Dostoevsky, Nabokov and Plath.
She lives in Manila where she is busy juggling her life and everything else in between. In her free time, she writes poems, short stories, and novels (as if the world hasn’t had enough).
Alongside her books, she is also head over heels in love with Japanese and Korean skin care products. This small little space on the Internet is where she bursts her languages.
